Croke Park pays tribute to Jim Stynes

Ireland comfortably retained the Cormac McAnallen Perpetual Trophy with victory over Australia at Croke Park on Saturday.

Before the game kicked off, however, there was a video tribute to Jim Stynes (right), who pushed for the International Rules Series to take place.

Since 1998, Stynes has had a medal named in his honour awarded to the best Australian player of the competition. ¬†Brisbane Lions’ Ashley McGrath won the medal this year.
